Colibrí Centro is the ground floor of Posada Colibrí, a three-story home a block off the water in central La Paz. Two queen bedrooms, a living room, and a full kitchen with a gas stove — plus your own gated entrance off the street, so you keep your own hours. Book one bedroom and share the kitchen, or take the entire floor. Your hosts live upstairs: close for a recommendation, invisible otherwise. It's a ground-floor stay — you're here for the location and the walk-everywhere convenience, not a rooftop view.

Loads — this is a nature-driven, outdoorsy corner of Baja. Walk the Malecón at sunrise or sunset (the middle of the day gets hot), wander the shops of this up-and-coming little foodie town, and settle in for dinner and cocktails — La Paz is full of great dinner spots and cocktail bars, with a few good coffee places too. Or just lounge. There's plenty to get out on the water for as well — swimming with whale sharks in season, boat days to Isla Espíritu Santo and its sea lion colony, and the famously shallow turquoise water of Playa Balandra about 25 minutes away. La Paz has a cluster of dive shops within easy reach and every kind of diving — reefs, the Fang Ming wreck, the sea lions at Los Islotes, and whale sharks in season — with something good to do in every season. It's all walkable and convenient, and there are great places to eat and drink the moment you're back on land. Yes — the apartment has a full kitchen with a gas stove, and it arrives stocked with breakfast basics. Chedraui supermarket is about a 5-minute walk, with an OXXO and a pharmacy nearby, plus the Saturday Mercado Orgánico y Artesanal for produce.
Most of the center is walkable. DiDi is the rideshare app everyone uses here and it is inexpensive. We can also arrange trusted local drivers for airport transfers, day trips, and travel to Todos Santos or Cabo, and the bus terminal serves the rest of Baja California Sur.
